Clark Bonsai Collection at Shinzen Friendship Garden

The Golden State Bonsai Federation’s Clark Bonsai Collection inside Shinzen Japanese Garden located in Woodward Park is a living museum encompassing the history and culture of the art of bonsai in California as well as an educational center for the appreciation and practice of the art form. The garden provides visitors with a serene experience and an introduction to this art through thematic bonsai displays, pathways, waterfalls, and an iconic double moon bridge to be greeted by the resident koi. Ever-changing exhibitions are designed to provide new interpretive experiences of the art of bonsai upon each visit.
