The River Center, on Old Friant Road, features an historic ranch house, beautifully restored and appointed, open weekends from 10-3:00. The lush grounds include a large rose garden, in addition to several trees more than 100 years old. Picnic tables, an Audubon bird watching area, critter pond, gift shop and large lawns invite visitors to relax and escape the bustle of the city. Volunteer Gardening Angels tend the grounds every 2nd Saturday at 9:00.
This toolkit has been compiled by Explore Valley Garden for the partnering community gardens in the Central Valley. We encourage you to explore these resources and educate others during National Public Garden Week.
